Penélope Cruz is het nieuwe gezicht van Karl Lagerfeld’s modehuis Chanel. De Spaanse actrice zal model staan voor de Chanel Cruise collectie. Tijdens de Chanel Haute Couture show die vanavond in Parijs wordt gehouden was Penelopé voor het eerst te zien als nieuwe ambassadeur van het modehuis. Penélope treed hiermee in de voetsporen van modellen Keira Knightley en Kristen Stewart.

Aan WWD verteld Penélope dat ze haar nieuwe rol als model voor Chanel fantastisch vindt:

“It’s such an iconic brand and Karl is a genius, and I’ve been admiring everything he’s done since I was a little girl, so it’s such a pleasure working with him. He’s like the king of fashion and we had a really, really interesting photo shoot, so to be in front of his camera is an adventure.”
